PROMOTIONS GUIDE
If you are new to online gaming platforms, one of the first things worth understanding is how to make the most of bonuses and promotions. At Golden City, promotions are not just marketing — they represent real value you can use to play longer, take on less risk, or try new games without spending extra. But how do you claim them correctly?
The most popular promotion at Golden City is the welcome bonus for new members. It is designed to give you a feel for the platform before you fully commit. Your first deposit is matched 100% up to RM 488 — so if you deposit RM 200, you will have RM 400 to play with. On top of that, you get 50 Free Spins on selected slots that week. These are not just attractive numbers on paper — it is real credit you can actually use.
The most important thing to understand before claiming any bonus is the wagering requirement. It means you need to wager the bonus amount a set number of times before you can withdraw. For example, a RM 200 bonus with a 25× wagering requirement means you need to place a total of RM 5,000 in bets (RM 200 × 25) before withdrawing. This does not mean you need to win RM 5,000 — it simply refers to the cumulative amount wagered.
Golden City offers some of the most reasonable wagering requirements in the Malaysian market — the 25× requirement on the welcome bonus is industry standard, and certain Golden City cashback promotions require as little as 1× wagering. This means the cashback you receive is almost fully withdrawable after being played through once. Compare that to other platforms that sometimes impose 50× or higher — the difference is significant.
One of the most valuable promotions at Golden City is the weekly cashback. Many players don't realise how useful it is until they hit an unlucky session. The 15% cashback on Live Casino means that even if you net a loss of RM 1,000 in a week, you automatically get RM 150 back every Monday. Over time, this adds up and gives you more capital to keep playing.
For slots players, the 10% Wednesday cashback provides similar protection. Golden City believes that players who feel looked after are more engaged and more loyal — and this ultimately creates a better experience for everyone. Cashback is credited automatically, so you never have to remember to claim it each week.
One of Golden City's advantages over other platforms is that the promotions do not stop after you claim the welcome bonus. The 50% Friday Reload Bonus ensures there is always an offer waiting for your next deposit. Daily free spins for consecutive logins give you a reason to stay active without any pressure. The annual birthday bonus that grows with your VIP tier is a clear sign that Golden City values your loyalty over the long term.
The refer-a-friend program is also one of the most generous in the market. Every friend you introduce to Golden City who makes a deposit earns you RM 50, while your friend receives an additional RM 30. If you have a group of friends who enjoy online gaming, this is an easy way for everyone to benefit. There is no cap on the number of referrals, meaning the earning potential from this program is unlimited.
For deposits and promotion claims at Golden City, all major Malaysian payment methods are accepted — Touch 'n Go eWallet, DuitNow, GrabPay, Boost, ShopeePay, and FPX (Maybank2u or CIMB Clicks). Deposits are processed in seconds, and bonuses are credited automatically once the deposit is confirmed. The minimum deposit is just RM 30 for most promotions, making it easy to get started even if you prefer to play casually.
One important thing to note: all Golden City promotions are designed with clear, transparent terms. We don't hide complicated conditions in the fine print. Wagering requirements, bet limits, and validity periods for each bonus are stated plainly on every promotion card. If you have any questions about a promotion, our Malaysian-speaking customer support team is available 24/7 via live chat.

PLAYER TESTIMONIALS
"I was skeptical when I first signed up at Golden City — thought the RM 888 bonus was just marketing hype. But it was genuinely credited after my first deposit. The 25× wagering requirement wasn't too tough either; I managed to withdraw within two weeks of playing. The Monday cashback is honestly the bonus I look forward to most every week — it comes in automatically with no need to claim it yourself."
"Golden City's referral program is genuinely rewarding. I've referred 6 friends — all of them deposited and I earned RM 300 in credits within a month. My friends are happy too since they get extra bonuses. The daily free spins are great as well; I make a point to log in every day to collect them. On day 7 you get 50 spins all at once!"
"The Friday reload bonus has become part of my routine. Every Friday night before I watch EPL, I make a deposit and the 50% bonus comes in automatically. That means a bigger bankroll for weekend Sports Betting. Golden City has the clearest bonus terms I've ever come across — no surprises when it's time to withdraw."
